Doctor Who: The New Ice Warrior

Here's your first good look at the new Ice Warrior design. It'll make its debut in the third episode of Doctor Who series 7b, written by Mark Gatiss and directed by Douglas Mackinnon. Very faithful, isn't it? Is he wearing old-fashioned 3D glasses in anticipation of November's anniversary special, or is that just a trick of the light?

I think this has been the best updated design since the series returned in 2005. It's still faithful to the original design but makes these aliens look more like menacing warriors.
